Seminars and Groups
Mike and Jeanenne McCloskey both offer seminars and small group opportunities on a number of topics. These events can be a profound means to have your thinking stirred toward being more deeply connected to your heart and the art of living with conviction, strength, and joy.

Redeeming Eve
February 20th, 2012 through May 7, 2012
For most of us the first words spoken into our lives were "It's a girl!" or "It's a boy!". Perhaps obvious words, but what if the meaning and purpose of our sexuality meant something far deeper than mere biology? Is it possible that our sexuality was intended to reveal the character of God more fully? Unfortunately, for most of us our sexuality has become something hated or at best ignored.
Redeeming Eve is a ten week small group (8 participants) opportunity led by Jeanenne McCloskey, M.A., LPC designed to provide a context in which honest and bold exploration into the rich meaning of our sexuality in relationship can happen. Small groups are an especially powerful medium to consider the realities of God's truths on our hearts.
Schedule: Monday evenings 7:00pm-9:00pm

On Being Men

The book of Genesis makes a bold claim - that who we are as men uniquely reflects something of the character of God. Let that sink in for a minute. Do we have any idea of the staggering meaning behind that thought? For most of us, being men is something we simply never think about and leave on the back of some shelf - or something we experience only in moments of certain types of play. Rarely would anyone describe our masculinity as that which is like God, much less something that is to be deeply enjoyed and powerfully meaningful.
On Being Men is a small group opportunity for men exploring the nature and genesis of our unique identity as men and how this affects our lives and relationships. This small group of eight participants will focus half it's time on teaching (a combination of didactic and cinematic) and half on personal interaction and story. Join us and uncover what God has created in your masculine soul.
Schedule: Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30
Feb 21 - May 22, 2012, 12 weeks.
